We anticpate to add serveal jobs here in the Albany tri-city area. Some of the jobs to be created will require people with specialized skills and of course be fore looking out the surrounding area we will exhaust every effort to hire locally. Other types to jobs will include adminstrative, clerical, and general services. Job postings will be annouced via newspaper, radio. |

The Xcelsior Consortium, LLC is planning a major waste-to-fuel facility on the BASF land in the City of Rensselaer, NY. We are currently going after the 10% "up-front" start up costs of a $1/3Billion project using Obama ARRA stimulus money from the $39B DOE loan guarantee program passed in February, 2009.
. Our unique proposals incorporate the state-of-the-art technologies in municipal solid waste [MSW] separation, the state-of-the-art bioconversion technologies for the biogenic portion of MSW, and the state-of-the-art gasification technologies for the rest of the MSW containing carbon, but not valuable enough to support recycling.
The money we raise will be spent to prepare the final design drawings with professional stamps as well as to support our efforts through the extensive public approval processes of NYS.
